Q'ero Andean Lliklla Mestana Cloth - Chili

Q'ero Andean Lliklla Mestana Cloth - Chili

Traditional mestana cloth with motifs representing the chili design, named for the red flower that grows in the Andean jungle, in alternating light and dark colors. Touches of color bordering the central pattern call to the mountain spirits or Apus. The wide black stripes represent life-giving Pachamama, and the two sides of the cloth are joined in the middle with alpaca stitched to represent the mayu or River of the Sky or Milky Way.

Woven of alpaca and sheep wool, this cloth will hold your sacred mesa stones or display on your altar. Hand woven by the Q'ero of Peru.
